While some people find graveyards creepy, I find them peaceful and more importantly, full of amazing contrast. This particular resting place holds the tombs and crypts of some of the area's most affluent families, including those who laid the foundation for the Bay Area, California Governors, Senators, the founder of Folger's Coffee, and the Ghiradelli Chocolate Family. There is an incredible amount of history and legend asleep among the hills.<br /><br />We walked for hours, peeking in to the large patina doors built at the beginning of the last century.
